Where the heck has Oliver been?

The weather where Oliver lives has been no good at all -- over 100 degrees and just icky. He is a lucky boy -- his mommy took him on vacation for two weeks where it was cool and wonderful. In those two weeks, Oliver saw all of his aunts and uncles (except Tim, who had to stay home to work), his cousins, his grandpa, his grandma, and Kevin.

Oliver told me all about his adventures in blogging while I was on vacation... and all about his upcoming trip to Michigan. Being a baby is exhausting -- he needs a break.

It has been hot and humid all week long. I'm afraid the weather might be causing me to retain water. I don't know....maybe I'm just being too hard on myself or maybe it's the outfit.

Funny Story

The reason I am laughing is because my Mommy is so funny. Yesterday our muffler started scraping the road. She pulled into a Midas Muffler Shop and all the guys wanted to help us. They fixed the scraping muffler for FREE!! I wonder who they thought was cuter, her or me?

A little chat

Tim tells Oliver about our vacation plans and how much we will miss him while we're gone...

Later, I explained to Oliver about how to make posts to this blog so that he can provide technical support to his mother and grandparents should they need it. Oliver thought about it for a while and then suggested that -- if they have trouble posting -- they could just email me fresh pictures and I could post them. He is a very very smart baby, I'm telling you.

And this is supposed to be fun?

Oliver has, in the past, enjoyed a gentle roll on top of a fitness ball. Yesterday it just made him puke a little and give us skeptical looks. (Actually, he was smiling a bit just before I took this picture.) He is getting us trained... :)
